Google’s online empire is
known for it's speed. It's always trying to deliver information to your web
browser as quickly as possible. At NASA's Ames research center, not far from
Google headquarters, there's a machine that could go even faster. This is a multimillion-dollar quantum computer
shared by Google and NASA.
The quantum computer is called D-Wave Two
processor and it worth $5 million. NASA and Google are teaming up to
launch a new laboratory that's focused on advancing machine learning, called the
Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab.
